American actress Chyler Leigh's name is pronounced Kyler, not Shyler as some mistake it. She was born April 10, 1982 as Chyler Leigh Potts in Charlotte, North Carolina. Raised in Virginia Beach until the age of twelve, Chyler, her mother and her brother then moved to Miami, Florida where she began modelling in the eighth grade. Her career began with local television commercials and a teen news show called Hall Pass. Now a series regular on Greys Anatomy, she is known for open-mouth kissing her real brother in Kickboxing Academy. That 80s show, Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2002 and Marilyn Manson’s Tainted Love song video are all places you might remember seeing Chyler Leigh. Chyler married her actor husband Nathan West on July 20, 2002 and together they have Noah Wilde, born in December of 2003 and a daughter named Taelyn whom she gave birth to in September 2006. Leigh and her husband West worked together in 2000 on the television series 7th Heaven when they played Mary Camden’s friends Johnnie and Frankie.
