Who is Christy Turlington?

Christy (Nicole) Turlington was born on January 2, 1969 in California, USA. She is an American supermodel whose name is associated with Calvin Klein products. She is the daughter of a British pilot father and a Salvadorian flight attendant mother. She is widely known as the one of the most successful models in the business. She has been representing Calvin Klein fragrances since the year 1987. Besides being the flagship for Calvin Klein; she has scored a numerous and prestigious contracts with Maybelline Cosmetics and with the world famous designer Giorgio Armani. Due to her high success, she is also known as the part of the Modelling Trinity, which also consists of Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell. Christy Turlington has appeared in two documentary films concerning the fashion industry mainly the Catwalk and the Unzipped. She is married with the actor Edward Burns and currently she has a son and a daughter. She is especially famous for her Maybelline campaign - Maybe She is Born With It, and she largely owes her fame and success for this campaign. She is also the co founder of the famous cafe chain Fashion Cafe, which has since gone out of business.
