Christina Applegate is a famous American actress born in November 25, 1971 in Los Angeles, USA. Her mother was a singer and an actress and her father was a record company executive. Her career started early as when she was 3 months old; she starred with her mother in Days of our Lives. Then as she was five months old, she was in the commercial for Playtex. When she became 4 years old, she starred in radio commercials for K-Mart. She started to star in movies when she was only 9 years old. It is very rare for an actress to start a career so early but Christina Applegate starred in Jaws of Satan and Beatle mania when she was a child. She starred in her first TV comedy show Washingtoon as the daughter of a Congressman. She then went on to star in the TV show Heart of the City as the daughter of a cop. However, her first real show that made her internationally famous was the Fox networks famous Married with Children, which aired from 1987 to 1997. She had the role of Kelly Bundy a dumb blonde who won the hearts of the viewers for 10 years. She owes her fame, largely to this show. Her first starring role in a motion picture was in the film Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter is Dead. She also won a prime time Emmy award for guest starring on Friends.
