Christie Brinkley was born in February 2, 1954 in Monroe, Michigan. Her real name is Christie Lee Hudson and she is a famous American Supermodel. She attended Palisades High School and then went on to university to majoring in Arts in 1972. Her first real work was for the major cosmetics company Cover Girl and she continuously worked as a model for Cover Girl non-stop for 20 years. Christie Brinkley again signed a contract with Cover Girl to work as a model for skin products in 2005. In her career, she has also starred in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues during the years 1979-1981. Christie Brinkley has been married 4 times. Her first three marriages were to artist Jean-Francois Allaux (1973–1981), musician Billy Joel (1985–1994) and developer Richard Taubman (1994–1995). Her fourth husband is Peter Cook, an architect, whom she married in 1996. However Christie has divorced her fourth husband in year 2006. She has currently one son and two daughters. Her career has come to a screeching halt as she a skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado and hurt her back. Her health has deteriorated since and she has stopped working as a model.
