Celine Marie Claudette Dion was born on 30th March 1968 in Quebec, Canada. She is a singer, songwriter, and actress from Canada. She is most famous for her song in the movie Titanic. She was born in a very poor background and was the youngest among 14 children. Her parents were Adhemar Dion and Therese Tanguay respectively. They were poor, but her parents had passed down the Roman Catholic values and her childhood was a happy one despite their poverty. She was popular in the French colony and her manager Rene Angelil, who later became her husband, mortgaged his house to finance her first album. In 1990, she released her first album titled Unison. This album made her a recognized artist in North America and other countries where English was spoken. She gained international popularity by winning the Yamaha World Popular Song Festival in 1982 and the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988. She did many French albums in the 1980s and then got a huge break when she signed up with Sony Records in 1986. She created many hit English and French albums from the 1980s to 1999 and then decided to take a break from her career for the sake of family life, especially for her husband who had helped her throughout her career.
