Catherine Deeley, better known as Cat was born in Birmingham, England on October 26, 1976. She is an ex glamour model, a disc jockey, and a television personality. She became famous at the age of 21. This came about when she started co-hosting the childrens show SMTV live with Declan Donnelly and Anthony McPartlin. Her popularity grew when she started hosting Stars in their Eyes from 2004 onwards and also So You Think You Can Dance, the second series, which started in 2006. During her early days, she was a fashion model. Later she got her big break in modelling from the Storm Modelling Agency. She pursued modelling only for 2 years and then went on to become a presenter for MTV, England in 1997. Her co-host was usually the famous Edith Bowman on this show. From 1998 to 2002 she hosted SMTV, which was a childrens show aired on Saturday mornings. She had the honour of winning the Childrens BAFTA Award in 2002 for the best anchor. She has also appeared in one episode of Happiness on BBC. She has also appeared in an ad for the renowned British store, Marks and Spencer in 2002. She has also anchored other famous television programs like The Record of the Year, and Fame Academy.
