Carrie-Anne Moss was born in Burnaby, British Columbia on August 21, 1967. She is a Canadian actress. Her role as Trinity in the film Matrix, which is a tri-series, has won her much fame. She got her first break in her career to act in a television program called Dark Justice, while she was in Spain. She moved in 1992 from Barcelona to Los Angeles, California as part of this drama series itself. She got her biggest break, when in 1999 she attained the role of Trinity in the movie Matrix, which turned out to be a very successful blockbuster movie. Carrie also got a chance to do her part in the two sequels of Matrix that followed. After this, she got four coveted roles; one opposite Burt Reynolds and Richard Dreyfuss in a Disney comedy movie called The Crew, then opposite Val Kilmer, in a movie called Red Planet for Warner Bros. Then in the Oscar-nominated movie Chocolat from Miramax, opposite many acclaimed actors like Juliette Binoche, Alfred Molina, Johnny Depp and Dame Judi Dench. And finally in the movie called Memento, which is an independent thriller movie opposite Guy Pearce. Carrie-Anne also won the best Independent Spirit Award for this movie.
