Carol Alt was born on the 1st of December, 1960, in East Williston, Long Island, New York. She works as a model and as an actress. Her mother worked as a model before she was married. She has a sister, Christine, who also worked as a model. In 1980, Carol gained her first big event in her career, landing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. It was in 1982 that she landed her biggest claim to fame, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. Carol was one of the first models to turn modelling into a true business, moving into the related fields of acting, launching products, and even book writing. Carol began her acting career in 1986, landing the lead in a number of Italian films. She has also provided her voice to King of the Hill in 1998. Her book was a guide to eating only raw foods, entitled Eating In The Raw: A Beginner's Guide To Getting Slimmer, Feeling Healthier, And Looking Younger the Raw-food Way. She will soon be appearing on the celebrity version of The Apprentice. In 1983, Carol married pro New York Rangers ice hockey player Ron Greschner. They divorced in 1996 after 13 years of marriage. She is now dating Russian ice hockey player Alexei Yashin, and they are not married.
