Carla Hidalgo was born in 1973 in Madrid, Spain. She is a Spanish actress, television host, and model. In 2000, Carla came to her full height of fame as the presenter of the Miss Spain pageant on Telecinco. She has acted both in films and in the theatre. She lived with actor Toni Canto from 1999 to 2004, and they had one son, named Lucas, together in April 2003. She began acting in 1997 with the role of Lucia in Bracula. Condemor II. The following year she played Rubia in Papa Piquillo. In 1999 she played Laura in Dying of Laughter, and that same year she began hosting Nosolomusica. She continued those hosting duties through 2000. On 2002, she landed the role of Estela on Living Lavapies. Then 2006 saw her play the role of Cecilia Trujilo on El Comisario. Also in 2006, she played Lidia in Tirando a dar, and Luisa in Profesor en La Habana. From 2002 through to 2007, she was part of the game show Pasapalabra. In 2007 she co-hosted Hoy por ti.
