Brooke Satchwell was born Broke Kerith Satchwell on the 14th of November, 1980, in Melbourne, Australia. She is an Australian actress who came to the public’s attention for playing the role of Anne Wilkinson on Australian soap opera Neighbours. She grew up on the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. She first started her career modelling in television commercials. The make-up artists convinced Brooke to get an acting agent. She did so, and after fifteen months, she went to an audition for Neighbours. Two weeks later, in 1996, she was offered the role of Anne Wilkinson, which she played through until 2000. It’s alleged that she gained the role, as Lance Wilkinson’s twin sister, due to her similar looks with the actor that played Lance. She then gained a role in Water Rats from 2000 to 2001. She then appeared in Tripping Over as Flick in 2006 a co-Australian/English production, and in 2007 she appeared in Dangerous as Donna. She is now appearing in Canal Road, as well as performing in the children’s series of Play School. Brooke had a five year relationship with actor Matthew Newton. It ended in 2006, and she charged him with four crimes including assault and intimidation. Three of the charged were withdrawn, and he pleaded guilty to one charge of common assault.
