Who is Brooke Burns?

Brooke Burns was born Brooke Elizabeth Burns on the 16th of March, 1978, in Dallas, Texas. She works primarily as an actress, and she used to be a fashion model. She began modelling when she was fifteen years old, and had previously been a ballet dancer. She rose to prominence as the bikini wearing host of Dog Eat Dog. She has been married to actor Julian McMahon, and they had a daughter together in 2000. She was also engaged to Bruce Willis from 2003 to 2004. She was linked to Eric Ganter from 2005 to 2006. In November, 2005, Brooke dove into her home swimming pool. She broke a bone in her neck, and was discovered by her friend who happened to be a former fire-fighter. The friend stabilised her neck and called an ambulance. She has since made a full recovery. Brooke is also involved in community work. She mentors for a home for abused children called Penny Lane. She first began acting in1996 in Out of the Blue. She then appeared in episodes of Ally McBeal as The Girl. From 1998 to 2001, she appeared in Baywatch, until she was pregnant with her daughter. She played Katrina in Shallow Hal opposite Jack Black. She has also appeared in North Shore, Pepper Dennis, and is soon to be seen in The Art of Travel and Smokejumpers.
