Who is Brigitte Nielsen?

Brigitte Nielsen was born Gitte Nielsen in the 15th of July, 1963, in Rodovre, Denmark. She is fluent in Danish, English, Italian, and German. In 1983 to 1984, she was married to Kasper Winding. She first began acting in 1985, the same year that she married Sylvester Stallone. In 1987, when she divorced Stallone, she had a small bump of a music career. In 1992, she released a follow up album to her 1985 debut. Neither albums were particularly successful. She worked as an Italian television host throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. She has lately been appearing as herself on a string of celebrity reality television shows in both her native homeland of Denmark and in the United Kingdom. She has had a sketchy marital life. After Stallone, she became engaged to Mark Gastineau, and had a son with him, but they never married. In 1993 she married driver Raoul Meyer, they had two sons together, and they divorced in 2005. It’s often alleged that she also married Sebastian Copeland, but Brigitte claims there was no legal marriage between them. In 2005, she married Mattia Dessi, but it wasn’t official as her divorce from Meyer had not yet come through. They married again, legally this time, in 2006. In July 2007 she went into rehab.
