Who is Brenda Strong?

Brenda Strong was born Brenda Lee Strong on the 25th of March, 1960, in Brightwood, Oregon. She grew up mostly near Portland in Oregon. She then moved to Arizona to go to college, and she graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. In 1980, she won the title of Miss Arizona. She has been married to Tom Henri since 1989, and she has one child with him. By 1985, she was appearing on a number of television series, including Cheers and MacGyver. She also gained a recurring role in Twin Peaks. She then had recurring roles on 3rd Rock From the Sun, Party of Five, and she probably gained most attention for her role of Sue Ellen Mischke, Elaine’s “braless wonder” nemesis on the hit Seinfeld. She has also appeared on Sports Night, this time as Felicity Huffman’s nemesis. She now appears opposite Felicity again in Desperate Housewives as the deceased Mary Alice Young. She has also appeared in several movies, most recently, in Spaceballs, The Deep End of the Ocean, Starship Troopers, and Family in Hiding. She is also a certified yoga instructor and fertility expert, and will be releasing her first book soon.
