Borat’s full name is Borat Sagdiyev. He is a fictional character created and played by Sacha Baron Cohen, a British comedian. Borat is a Kazakh journalist that was born on the 30th of July, 1972 in Kuzcek, Kazakhstan. He came to life on the big screen in the mockumentary Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Borat is a very racist character, and comes from an overly exaggerated third world society with some very interesting social viewpoints. Borat first appeared as an unnamed foreign reporter in Comedy Nation in the mid 1990s. Borat’s mother is Asimbala Sagdiyev, and it’s said that his father (and maternal grandfather) is Boltok the town rapist. He has three sons, and seventeen grandchildren. He has an older sister, Natalya, who is a prostitute, and a mentally retarded younger brother, Bilo. He loves the views of Joseph Stalin, is against women’s rights, loves a good game of ping pong, and taking photos of women going to the toilet. He also often wanders around sporting his bright green mankini.
