Bonnie Bedelia was born Bonnie Bedelia Culkin, on the 25th of March, 1948 in New York City, New York. Her mother is Marian Ethel Wagner, a writer and editor. Her father is Philip Harley Culkin who worked as a journalist. She is the aunt to Macaulay Culkin, Quinn Culkin, Kieran Culkin, Christian Culkin, Shane Culkin, Rory Culkin, and Dakota Culkin. She appears on the cover of the book The Films of Don Shebib by Piers Handling. Shebib directed her in Between Friends in 1973. From 1969 to 1980, Bonnie was married to Kenneth Luber. They had two children, Uri in 1970 and Jonah in 1976. She has been married to Michael McRae since 1995. She first appeared on screen in Love of Life as Sandy Porter from 1961 to 1967. She has since appeared on screen in more than seventy different roles. She also appeared on stage in 1962 in Isle of Children. She also appeared on stage in 1963 – 1964 in Enter Laughing, 1965 – 1966 in The Playroom, and in late 1966 for My Sweet Charlie. She most recently appeared as Captain Kaitlyn "Kate" McCafferty from 2001 to 2004 in The Division. She can also be seen in Berkeley as Hawkins in 2005, and as Virginia Ginger Heffman in Big Love in 2007.
