Blair Brown was born Bonnie Blair Brown on the 23rd of April, 1947, in Washington, the District of Columbia. She was educated at the National Theatre School of Canada. She began her career working on the stage and spent many years there before making the transition to the screen. Her first screen role was in 1972 as Pheasan Vaughhan in The Whiteoaks of Jalna. Blair has landed many, many screen credits. Currently, she has over seventy seven listings in the Internet Movie Database. She is probably best known for her appeared in The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. She is also known for her role on Broadway in Copenhagen. This talented performer even completes voice over work and has narrated many books, films, and documentaries. Blair had a son, Robert, in 1983 to actor Richard Jordan, whom she lived with from 1976 to 1985. She was also involved with writer David Hare. She has most recently appeared in The Speed of Thought, First Born, and Dark Matter, all in 2007. She has been nominated for several Emmy Awards, several Golden Globes, and she has been named the Thinking Man’s Bombshell.
