Barbara Bach was born Barbara Goldbach on the 27th of August, 1947, in Queens, New York. She worked as an American actress and model. She is known best for her role as a Bond Girl in The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977, and as the wife of Ringo Starr, former drummer of The Beatles. Barbara was the eldest of five children, her father was Austrian Jewish and her mother was Irish Catholic. She left school at sixteen to pursue modelling. Living and working in Italy, Barbara married Augusto Gregorini in 1968. In 1971, Barbara appeared in La Tarantola dal ventre nero giallo with two other Bond Girls, Caludine Auger and Barbara Bouchet. In 1975, Barbara separated from Gregorini and moved back to American with their two children. In 1978, she appeared in Force 10 from Navarone. In 1980, Barbara met Ringo Starr on the set of Caveman. They married in April 1981, and she accompanies him on his musical tours. Barbara has not worked as an actress since the mid 1980s, and she now lives in Aspen, Colorado, with her children and Ringo Starr.
