Who is Ashley Olsen?

Ashley Olsen was born Ashley Fuller Olsen on the 13th of June, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. She is one half of the super twin set, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They claim to be fraternal twins, rather than identical. They began “acting” when they were six months old, on the series Full House. They both played the character Michelle Tanner. They were originally credited as Mary Kate Ashley Olsen as the producers did want the audience to know the one character was played by twins. During their eight years on the show, they also made several video movies. After Full House ended, they established a company called Dualstar in 1993 and used their own image to market their clothing line. Ashley’s first appearance alone, without Mary-Kate will be in the Billy Bob Thornton vehicle The Informers in 2008. Ashley filed a $40 million lawsuit against National Enquirer for “Ashley Olsen Caught in Drug Scandal.” Her sister suffers from an eating disorder and went into rehab, but Ashley has not been caught up in that scandal. Ashley also works as a producer on a lot of her own movies. She has been listed in the Forbes 20 Richest Women in Entertainment.
