Who is Ashley Drane?

Ashley Drane was born Maria Ashley Drane on the 22nd of September, 1981 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was raised in Orlando, Florida. She began acting at the young age of twelve years old, with a breakthrough role as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker in theatre. She continued working on the stage in The Wizard of Oz, and The Children’s Hour. She landed the hosting role on Shamu TV for Sea World and appeared on the Discovery Channel for three seasons. In 1997, Ashley was nominated as the national spokesperson for TRUTH anti-tobacco campaign. She then moved to Los Angeles after a leading role in Ancient Warriors (filmed in Italy). She then began appearing in television series like JAG, That ‘70s Show, Drake & Josh, Strong Medicine, Blue Collar TV, Hot Properties, and Phil of Future. On the 26th of November, 2005, Ashley married St Louis Cardinals player David Eckstein in Sanford, Florida. They had their reception at Walt Disney World. From 2003 to 2006, she appeared in That’s So Raven as the character Muffy. In 2007, she will appear in Sydney White as the character Alicia, and Alice Upside Down as the character Miss Cole. She also had a supporting role in the rock musical Prey for Rock and Roll.
