Aracely Arambula was born Aracely Arambula Jacques on the 6th of March, 1975, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. She works as an actress and a singer. She competed in beauty pageants when she was younger. She also competed in the Rostro del Heraldo competition and won in 1992. She was accepted in the Televisa acting school and began acting in small roles in telenovelas. In 1994, her first role was with Prisionera de amor. In 1998, she had her first starring role in Sonadoras, as the character Jacqueline de la Pena. She went on to appear in over twelve television appearances, including 1997’s Pueblo chico, infierno grande, and Mujer, casos de la vida real. In 1998, she appeared in Rencor apasionado in the role of Mayte. In 1999, she appeared as Maria Elena Hernandez in Alma rebelde. In 2000, she played a character with a tongue twister of a name - Maria del Carmen Campusano-Hernandez Alvarez de Montes-Rivero – the telenovela Abrazame muy fuerte. In 2005, Aracley began touring as a professional singer, and she has released two albums thus far. Aracley had a child with her fiance Luis Miguel on the 1st of January, 2007, a boy they called Miguel.
