Who is Anna Falchi?

Anna Falchi was born Anna Kristiina Palomaki on the 22nd of April, 1972, in Tampere, Finland. She works as a model and an actress. Anna’s father was Italian, and her mother took her to Italy to be raised there. Anna is very well known in Italy for her modelling, but her acting has not be recognised there as yet. Anna chose a stage name as her Finnish name was too difficult for the Italians to pronounce correctly. Anna had her first brush with television fame when she starred in a television commercial for an Italian bank. It was directed by Federico Fellini, and co-starred Paolo Villaggio. This catapulted her into an acting career, beginning in 1993 with Nel continente nero, or On the Dark Continent. Anna was engaged to actor/singer Fiorello in 1994. The relationship lasted until 1996. During those two years, she gained nine credits, including Desideria e l'anello del drago or The Dragon Ring miniseries as Princess Desideria in 1994, and Celluloide in 1996 as Maria Michi. Anna slowed down in 1997, only having two credits, and then only five credits from 1998 through until 2006. In 2005, she married Stefano Ricucci, but they separated in 2007. That same year, she filmed the role of Sabrina May in Piper, and Giornalista in L’Allenatore nel pallone 2.
