Who is Angie Cepeda?

Angie Cepeda was born Angelica Maria Cepeda Jimenez on the 2nd of August, 1974, in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. She works as an actress. She was raised in Barranquilla and has two sisters, one of which is actress Lorna Paz. Initially Angie considered publishing as a career, but instead moved to Bogota and began drama classes. She landed a contract for a beer company for their commercials. She then went on to gain guest roles and bit parts of soap operas and films in Colombia. It wasn’t until she was offered a role in Las Juanas that she had her big break. That role led into other roles, including the lead role in Luz Maria in 1998, and portraying Fiorella Morelli Flores de Mejia Guzman in Pobre Diabla in 2000. Angie truly came to our attention in the steamy Pantaleon y las Visitadoras (Captain Pantoja and the Special Services). She played a whore called La Colombiana, and she steamed up the screen with several nude scenes. In 2003, Angie was in Sammy and Me, and then in 2004, she appeared in Suddenly, Paradise. Her English speaking debut was in Love for Rent. Angie is in a relationship with Diego Torres.
