Who is Angelica Rivera?

Angelica Rivera was born on the 2nd of August, 1969, in Mexico City. She is known as an actress for her work on telenovelas. Angelica was born into a large family with six brothers. At fourteen years old, she heard that Veronica Castro was filming a video in the street. Angelica decided to have a look, and to her surprise, Castro suggested that Angelica compete in the Face of the Herald. Angelica competed in the competition, and she won. This launched her entire career. She went on to a role in the video Now You Can Leave with Luis Miguel. She then gained a US commercial and another commercial for Japan. Two years later, Angelica was offered a small role on the soap opera Dulce Desafio. She followed this up with an appearance on Simply Maria, one on My Small Solitude, and a third on The Dreamy Scamp. In 1991, Angelica had an opportunity to sing onscreen with Ricky Martin in Alcanzar una estrella II. She relished the opportunity to play a villainous role. She followed this, also in 1991, with another villain, Marcia, in Mariana de la Noche. Other highlights of Angelica’s career include playing Angela, playing Elena in Huracan, and Regina in La Duena. Angelica is married to Joselberto Castro and has two children, Angelica Sofia & Fernanda.
