Anette Michel was born Anette Michel Carrillo on the 30th of June, 1971, in Guadalajara, Jalisco. She works primarily as a Mexican actress and a sometime model. At the age of fourteen, Anette began modelling to earn money for the household. She then moved to Mexico and signed with modelling agency Contempo. It was during her time with Contempo that she landed the role, hosting television program Hollywood DF. In 1996, Anette was offered the role of bartender Valeria in the soap opera Al Norte del Corazon. She turned down the offer, though, as she did not want to be typecast. Later, she was offered another role in the same soapie, as lead character Angela Medina. It would mean she co-starred with her ex-husband, Jorge Luis Pila. In 1998, Anette co-hosting the television program Tempranito with Alan Tacher. That same year, Anette travelled to Paris to model. In January 1999, Anette landed a role in another soap opera, Marea Brava, taking a brief hiatus from her hosting duties. In October 1999, she resumed her hosting duties. In 2001, Anette joined the cast of the soap opera Cuando seas Mia. Most recently, she appeared in Se busca un hombre as Nora.
