Her Dad inspired her to become an actress by taking her to dance recitals. She lived with a Mexican family to learn Spanish after college for three months. She was cast in the play Spike Heels, and then auditioned for the soap opera One Life to Live. She portrayed the character Linda Soto for two and a half years. She landed three national commercials, and eventually she began working with the SalSoul Comedy Troupe, and landed the lead role in the film Double Take as Maque Sanchez. Andrea almost didn’t attend the audition for the SalSoul Comedy troupe, but it’s lucky this lovely actress got her courage together and created three characters – a Flamenco dancer, her grandmother, and a little girl.
