Ana Claudia Talancon was born on the 1st of May, 1980, in Cancun, Mexico. She works on a regular basis as an actress, primarily in Mexico. Ana studied acting in Cancun with Albio Paz, a Cuban professor. She then moved to Mexico City and learnt from Hector Mendoza and Raul Quintanilla. She participated in their Acting Workshop. Ana was the lucky nominee for an Ariel Award for Best New Actress. She received the nomination for her debut film role on the movie El Cometa, portraying the role of Valentina in 1999. Ana’s first break came in 1997 when she portrayed the role of Angela in the television series Al norte del Corazon. She has since appeared in many television series. She broke through to an English audience in her role as Coco in Fast Food Nation in 2006. She has since been in Love in the Time of Cholera in 2007 as Olimpia Zuleta, One Missed Call in 2008 as Taylor Anthony, and Days of Wrath also in 2008. Ana is probably best known for her role in 2002 alongside Gael Garcia Bernal in El Crimen del Padre Amaro portraying the role of Amelia.
