Who is Amanda Detmer?

Amanda Detmer was born Amanda Jeannette Detmer on the 27th of September, 1971, in Chico California. Her father was a singing cowboy. Amanda completed a Master of Fine Arts at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Amanda made her acting debut in 1995 in the television movie Stolen Innocence as Dannie Baldwin. Her film debut was playing Miss Minneapolis in the parody Drop Dead Gorgeous in 1999. Amanda is now best known for her role in the television series What About Brian, playing Deena Greco for over 25 episodes from 2006 through 2007. Amanda has appeared in the films Final Destination as Terry Chaney, Saving Silverman as Sandy Perkus, and Big Fat Liar as Monty Kirkham. This gorgeous blonde with the bouncy curls is only five feet, four inches tall. She married Bernardo Targett in December 2004 but has recently filed for divorce. Stuff Magazine ranked Amanda as Number 17 in their 101 Sexiest Women in 2001. Most recently, Amanda can be seen in CSI: Miami, You, Me and Dupree, made in 2006, American Crude as Olivia in 2007, and the television movies 1321 Clover and Making It Legal.
