Amanda Bynes was born on the 3rd of April, 1986, at Thousand Oaks, California. Her dad occasionally worked as a stand up comedian. Amanda began working as a actress at the age of seven in a television commercial. She appeared on the stage as a child many times, including in Annie and The Sound of Music. In 1996, she was a regular cast member on Figure It Out and All That. She then starred in her own sketch show, in 1999, The Amanda Show, which was a spin off of All That, and it ran until 2002. Amanda made her first film in 2002 with Big Fat Liar, alongside Frankie Muniz. In 2003, she led the cast of What a Girl Wants. She has since been cast in the sitcom What I Like About You. Amanda appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair in July 2003 with nine other young female stars – including stars Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Alexis Bledel, Mandy Moore, and the Olsen twins. In 2006, Amanda landed a role in the Twelfth Night based comedy, She’s the Man, and she also has a great role in the musical film Hairspray. Amanda is a down to earth star who says she would much rather be with her family and friends than out partying at a club.
