Alyssa Milano was born Alyssa Jayne Milano on December the 19th, 1972, at Brooklyn, New York in the United States. Her parents are Italian American. Her mother was a fashion designer and talent manager, and her father was a film music editor. Her younger brother Cory is also an actor. She grew up on Stanten Island, New York, and began her career at age eight when she won an open audition for the role of Annie. At eleven, she graced our screens as Samantha Micelli in the television sitcom Who’s the Boss? With Tony Danza and Judith Light. In 1998, at sixteen, Alyssa produced a teen workout video. She won several Kids’ Choice Awards. Alyssa, as an adult, tried to shed her nice girl image by appearing in adult targeted films like Confessions of a Sorority Girl in 1994, Deadly Sins in 1995, and Poison Ivy II: Lily in 1995. As Jennifer Mancini on Melrose Place in 1997 to 1998, she found more success. She then played Meg Winston in Spin City before landing the role of Phoebe Halliwell on Charmed, from 1998 to 2006. Alyssa became a producer for Charmed in the fifth season onwards. In 2007, Alyssa shot television commercials for Veet. She is worked as a reporter for the 2007 Major League Baseball playoffs, and she is slated to appear in eight episodes of My Name is Earl.
