Who is Allison Mack?

Allison Mack was born on the 29th of July, 1982, in Preetz, Germany. We know her as one of the stars of the television series Smallville, playing the talented Chloe Sullivan. Allison was born in Germany to American parents. Her father is an opera singer, and they moved back to the United States when Allison was aged two years. Allison began her career in commercials for chocolate, then moved into modelling, but went back to acting at age seven when she enrolled in classes at The Young Actors Space in Los Angeles. Her first breakthrough role came in the television series 7th Heaven. In 2000, she had the kiss of death as she starred in two series that were cut – Hiller and Diller, and Opposite Sex. Allison has received five awards for her role on Smallville, including a nomination for a Saturn Award. In 2007, Allison was one of Portrait’s Top 30 Under 30 Stars. Entertainment Weekly nominated her as one of television’s most underrated stars. Allison is engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Peter. She is now wrapping up her sixth season on Smallville, and doesn’t look set to be slowing down anytime soon.
