Ali Larter was born on the 28th of February 1976 at Cherry Hill, New Jersey to a homemaker and a trucking executive and named Alison Elizabeth Larter. At the age of fourteen, she began modelling with Ford Models. In 1996, she moved to Los Angeles with her boyfriend and began taking acting classes. In November 1996, she portrayed the hoax model Allegra Coleman in Esquire magazine as a parody of fluff journalism, then landed her first professional role in 1997 in Suddenly Susan with Brooke Shields. She went on with roles in several television series, including Chicago Sons, Dawson’s Creek, Chicago Hope, and Just Shoot Me! In 1999 she landed a role in the film Varsity Blues, reuniting with friend and former roommate Amy Smart. She starred in Final Destination as Clear Rivers in 2000, and in the sequel in 2003. She has also appeared in Legally Blonde with Reese Witherspoon, American Outlaws with Colin Farrell, and in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back with Kevin Smith. In 2001 she performed on stage in The Vagina Monologues in New York City. She went on to appear in A Lot Like Love with Ashton Kutcher. The 173 centimetres tall beauty was ranked 6 in the Maxim Hot 100 of 2007 list. She now works, and is best known for, her as Niki Sanders in the series Heroes.
