Who is Ali Landry?

Ali Landry was born on the 21st of July, 1973 as Ali Germaine Landry, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She stands at 173 centimetres tall with brown eyes and brown hair. She is a former Miss USA, a model, and an actress. She is of French and Spanish (Cajun) descent, and majored in Mass Communications at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. She was crowned Miss Louisiana Teen USA in 1990. In 1995, she won the Miss Louisiana USA title. She went on to win the 1996 Miss USA title. She competed in the 1996 Miss Universe pageant and placed sixth. Alexis went on to model and do commercials, including her celebrated and recognised Doritos chips advertisement. She moved into acting and has appeared in numerous television series, and as herself in many productions, including hosting Spy TV in 2002 for eight episodes. Alexis was engaged to Mario Lopez in 2003, and they married in April 2004. Alexis had the marriage annulled just two weeks later over Lopez’s infidelity. She then married director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde in April 2006 in Mexico, and she had a daughter Estela Ines on July the 10th, 2007. Alexis and her husband made the movie Bella together in 2006. The film received honours in the Toronto Film Festival.
