Who is Aitana Sanchez?

Aitana Sanchez-Gijon was born in Rome, Italy, on the 5th of November in 1968 to an Italian mother and a Spanish father. She is a Spanish-Italian actress who works primarily in film. In Spain, she is known for her comedic roles. In America, however, she is best known for her dramatic work and in particular for her 1995 role of Victoria Aragon against Keanu Reeve’s Paul Sutton in A Walk in the Clouds. The five foot five inches tall actress married artist (sculpture and painting) Papin Luccadane in September 2002 and has two children with him. She was born with the mouthful of a name - Aitana Sanchez-Gijon de Angelis. Her measurements are 34 inches bust, 22 inches waist, and 34 inches hips. She had the pleasure of being on the Cannes Film Festival Jury in 2000, and she was the president of the Spanish Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences from 1998 until the year 2000. She is the goddaughter of film writer Rafael Alberti. Aitana has received thirteen nominations with a staggering five wins for her acting work, including being nominated for the 1996 MTV Movie Award “Best Kiss” for A Walk in the Clouds.
