Adela Noriega graced the world with her presence on the 24th of October 1969. She was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico, and is best known for her work as an actress. After her father died when she was young, Adela began her acting career in 1984 at the tender age of fifteen. She was cast in the telenovela Juana Iris. She went from strength to strength as she gained her first lead role at the age of eighteen, and another quickly followed that same year. In 1994, she was exclusively signed to Telemundo and the company Televisa banned her for signing with a different company. It wasn’t until 1997 that she was allowed to work on Televisa projects again. At that time, she starred in the remake of Maria Isabel. She has received two TV y Novela awards – one in 1998 and one in 2001. Adela has an older sister (by two years) named Reyna and a younger brother called Alejandro. She is 172 centimetres tall, and is currently single. She most recently played the role of Virginia Alfaro in La Esposa virgen in 2005. She is known as the Queen of Mexican TV telenovelas.
